Japanese Woodblock print package opening video number 5

In today’s video, I’ll be opening a large package of Japanese woodblock prints (featuring 7 mystery items, ordered from Japan). This package is a blind opening of sorts. It’s been 2-3 months since I ordered these items, and because I order a large quantity of prints some months, I often don’t know what arrives in any single aggregate shipping package. Especially because these packages typically hold multiple items, originating from several different sellers. CORRECTIONS: Please excuse an error I made in this video, regarding the artist Nakazawa Hiromitsu residing in the USA. He was not an artist that lived any of his life in the USA. I misspoke confusing him with the artist Hiratsuka Un'ichi, who did live in the USA. NOTES: The sites and products linked below are not affiliate links. I make no money or commissions from any of the items linked below. All items listed are a courtesy for those viewers that might be interested in referencing the items about which I have spoken during the video, or they are related to products that I’m using during the video, or are objects that I myself find interesting. I don’t warrant or recommend using or buying any of these products. Purchase at your own risk. HOKUEI BOOK. I am very excited about this large book with many images. I hope the images are large enough to see the fine details! First large book about the Osaka artist Hokuei. From the amazon page. The book includes a fully illustrated and annotated catalogue raisonné of 270 prints - the artist's entire known print oeuvre. ** the shipping date for this book has been delayed a couple times. I have personally ordered a copy…I’m “patiently” waiting!! Hokuei: Master of Osaka Kabuki Prints https://a.co/d/fPCKM13 BLICK ART ACID FREE STORAGE FOLDERS. I have personally used several sizes of these acid free storage books/ binders to store my woodblock prints over the last 14 years. They can store up to 48 sheets per book. WARNING: If you decide to use these for storing archival items on paper (like woodblock prints for example) be very careful when sliding the objects in and out of the plastic sleeves! If the sleeve catches on the edge of a piece of paper, it can cause a tear. It has happened to me several times in the past 14 years. This isn’t specific to this brand. If you use any of these storage binders, be mindful of the edges when adding and removing items from the plastic sleeve. I use the 9” x 12” books for storing most loose Kuchi-e prints. The prints can be larger at times, but the majority of Kuchi-e will fit well into this sized book. If you want more room, or to fit the larger sized Kuchi-e prints, you can use the 11”X 14” (or larger) books. I personally use this brand because they good balance of quality and affordability. They suit my own needs. I make no warranties about this product. If you choose to purchase these, you do so at your own risk. https://www.dickblick.com/items/blick...
