Triumph Bonneville T100 vs T120 - a short test ride...

Having lauded my enthusiasm for my Royal Enfield Meteor 350 on social media for the past year or so, the time has come for me to swallow my pride and admit I got dragged along with the mass hysteria of this new, very pretty bike and that it is not quite all it seems particularly when it comes to the safety aspects of performance. The Meteor is an excellent back lanes bike and you might think it would be ok to occasionally hit the highway, but it struggles to get to 70mph (110kph). On a flat road it took 11 seconds for the bike to get from 60mph to 70mph and, when it comes to safety, thats not good? My requirements, at my age are getting my leg over and not too heavy to push around the garage. Ended up looking at the Triumph Bonneville - checked could get my leg over so tested the T100 and the T120 back to back. You see my conclusions here ! RobLittleUK
