Australian Sprint Car racing is full of promising young talent and 22-year-old Jock Goodyer is at the top of the list. After winning the 2023 Australian Sprintcar Championship at the Perth Motorplex in February, Jock spent the Australian off-season operating his Platinum Prints business whilst his closest competitors got valuable seat time in the USA. The opening show of the 2023-2024 season at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway, Thunder on the Downs, was the first test for the reigning A1 team and driver to back up their stellar previous 12 month run. Going up against the likes of rival and close friend Lockie McHugh, Jamie Veal, Ian Madsen, Brock Hallett, Ryan Newton, Tate Frost, Jy Corbet, Luke Oldfield and more was never going to be easy.
