Building a drift car/show car out of a 40 year old car was not a easy job - in this episode you will see some of the initial plans and solutions we had for the project and how we built the WORLDS FIRST carbon fiber Mercedes S123 with a turbodiesel swapped engine. In our first car - The LEGENDARY S123 with SCANIA TURBO was built with OM606 engine. In this updated version of the car, we change pretty much everything from the previous S123 - we upgraded the engine to a single BIG TURBO OM648 with ALS and we minimized the restoration work by changing the original bodykit from steel to carbon fiber.
