While there was an official reissue, it’s quite pricey now, so Captain Kyle checks out this counterfeit “reissue” version of the toy to see if it would fit well in your collection. Metroplex was in Transformers: The Movie back in 1986, but he never transformed into robot mode. Weird. And the City Commander, Ultra Magnus, was about the same size, toy-wise. Still, he was a cool toy where you could have your smaller Autobots use him as a base, or he could go up against the mechanized Trypticon. But does this fake “reissue” stack up to the original toy?
