Location: Central Children Store (Moscow, Russia) Sila Sveta was commissioned to create a permanent projection mapping installation for the Store. We have produced colorful 3D animation about the history of Russia, showing how video mapping technique can transform a simple flat surface. Also, it employs a remotely controlled integrating system, which automatically dims the light in the Store and launches the presentation at a given time. Another work of ours for the Central Children Store is the revolving projection mapped model of the building in the Museum of Childhood. This permanent installation is a combination of imagery on the model and its background, which together with the soundtrack tell the story of the famous Moscow store. This project is a great example of using projection mapping on moving objects in a smaller-scale environment.
