YOUR support is what keeps US going! =================================== Nicolaus Bruhns (1665-1697): Prelude in E-Minor ("The Great") Audio & Video recorded live 27th of February 2015 @ Bartholomäuskirche, Brackwede. Organ by Rowan West 1994 (after Johann Patroclus Möller) --- David Boos (1982) was born in Vienna, Austria, where he received his first musical training. He studied in Vienna and Amsterdam with Pier Damiano Peretti and Pieter van Dijk. Additionally he conducted research at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. David Boos attended masterclasses with several renowned organists, among others Michael Radulescu, Bernhard Haas, Harald Vogel and Jean Boyer. He won prizes in international organ competitions in Leiden (2004) and Alkmaar (2009). David Boos is active as a soloist, continuo-player and conductor. He has performed in many european countries, as well as the USA. David was the Director of Music at the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Amsterdam until November 2012. From 2007 until 2009 he was also assistant to the Director of Music at the Oude Kerk of Amsterdam. Furthermore, he was active as conductor of the Chamber Choir Krommenie. David Boos has published articles on church music, as well as his research on the conducting style of the Dutch conductor Willem Mengelberg. Currently he's working as the Label Manager of the non-profit, artist-driven classical label Odradek Records. At the same time he remains active as a concert artist, working as a soloist, as well as an ensemble musician.
