This knot is made of 4 passes around the object and it proceeds one step further than the Snuggle Hitch & Double Constrictor and forms a double infinity loop or double 8 loop around the object. It has a common factor like other constrictor knot variations like Constrictor, ABOK 1249, Double Constrictor ABOK 1252 & Constrictor Variant, ABOK 1253 that the working end in the final step is tucked under the first turn and it exists perpendicular to the object & parallel to the standing end. Its structure comes close to the boa knot or boa constrictor knot which according to Wikipedia was discovered by Peter Collingwood in 1996 but it is more elegant in appearance. This can also be tied in the bight though it has to be dressed meticulously. It fits the definition of a hitch as it needs the object to retain its shape.
