The purpose of the Society of American Archivists – Archivists of Religious Collections Section, Models and Resources Committee (MRC) is to provide information to section members on all aspects of archival work relating to the administration of religious collections. Presenter: Hannah Palin, Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound (MIPops) Hannah Palin created the Moving Image Preservation program at the University of Washington Libraries, Special Collections, and is one of the founders of Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound. She co-authored The Washington State Film Preservation Manual: Low-cost and No-cost Suggestions to Care for your Film and “Starting from Nothing, The Art of Creating a Film Archive” with Nicolette Bromberg, Visual Materials Curator for the UW Libraries Special Collections. She taught workshops on moving image preservation for the Society of American Archivists, the University of Oregon, and the University of Washington. She serves on the Board of the Association of Moving Image Archivists.
