She collaborates with Cambridge University Press and Assessment to help teachers worldwide teach more effectively in universities and schools. Claire is an experienced tutor, having served as a local tutor for both CELTA and DELTA courses. In addition, Claire delivers the Cambridge Train the Trainer course and the British Council Assured Certificate for Teacher Educators. She has supported new and experienced teacher trainers in many countries, offering both online training and mentoring. She has also designed, developed, and tutored several online teacher education courses for the British Council on FutureLearn and creates classroom materials and courses for teachers and trainers. Claire explored what generative AI (genAI) can offer teachers and learners, along with a balanced perspective on the potential benefits and challenges of integrating AI into English language teaching. She shared highlights from current research, examining how educators can ethically and pedagogically navigate the shift brought about by AI technology. Claire's session also included activities from the Cambridge Generative AI Idea Pack, providing practical insights to help you decide if and how to use AI to support English language learning and teaching.
