There are a few different way to get onto the island of Montreal from the south shore but this one is my favourite. Unlike the Jaques-Cartier Bridge the difference in elevation is slight on the Victoria. You have to be aware that the St-Lawrence Seaway Authority raises and lowers the bridge at different times of the day. You can find the schedule here: https://seaway-greatlakes.com/bridges... Once you make in onto the island it is really not far to get into Parc Jean-Drapeau. The path will use part of the Formula 1 track then turn and weave around some of the old Expo 67 pavilions. You can follow the signs to get out of the park on the De La Concorde bridge. This will get you onto the south side of the Montreal port. There are some paths from there that follow the perimeter of the port into the old port where the passenger terminal is.
