Today, I am making a must have staple for everyone’s pantry: Black pepper gravy mix 🍳🥓🥐 5 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup corn starch 1/4 c ground black pepper 2 cups powdered milk 1T salt Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Place in an airtight container with a lid . Store in a cool dry place. Directions… You will need 1 1/2 cups of milk , Add 1-2 T bacon 🥓 drippings to a warm skillet, med heat, when Melted add 3-4 heaping Tablespoons of Black pepper gravy mix. Whisking continuously. After bacon 🥓 drippings and All Purpose flour are whisked together add 1 1/12 cups of milk to skillet. Continue to whisk milk Into gravy mixture on med or low heat. The mixture will thicken quickly.
