Fitting a Nitron NTR1 Rear Shock!! | 22 Honda CB1000R Neo Sports Café

After almost 1000miles, I'd had enough of the standard rear shock, it's quite simply not good enough. So a quick call to Harwood Performance Store aka Bike HPS, and a Nitron NTR1 rear shock built to my spec was on it's way. It took 4 weeks from ordering to arrival, and about an hour to fit. There was an utter panic moment when the top bolt didn't seem to fit, but a little persuasion sorted it. Honda put an extra layer of cheap anodising on it, yeah thanks big H! After a quick test ride, the bike feels loads better. It's not kicking me out the seat all the time, nor taking 100 metres to recover after a high speed compression. I've added a few more bits and bobs as well including; Evotech Performance radiator guard - PRN015669-01 Genuine Honda Meter Visor - 08R71-MKJ-E50 Genuine Honda CB tank pad - 08P71-MKN-D50 Rizoma mirrors & titanium mounting bolts Quadlock bar mount Quadlock USB power base Various RAM GoPro mounts The jury's still out regarding exhausts. I don't mind the standard can and I can get a carbon finisher to replace the standard black plastic one. The downpipes and collector on the other hand are ugly as F**K, so if I change anything it'll be them. So I've been a busy boy as you can see. Don't worry there's plenty more to come.
