This is a detailed instructional video on how to properly check and adjust the valves on my 2014 Yamaha TW200. Always use proper safety equipment for the job. valve clearance (cold) spec: Intake: 0.05 -0.09mm (0.002 - 0.004in) exhaust: 0.11 - 0.15mm (0.004 - 0.006in) torque specs: locknut: 14Nm (10.3ftlb) (123.6inlb) valve cover bolts: 10Nm (7.2ftlb) (86.4inlb) *****update, the manual says these bolts are 10nm and I have always tightened them down to that. But last time I checked my valves the lower bolt for the exhaust valve cover did not want to tighten down to spec like the others. I quickly stopped turning the bolt so I didn't strip it out, it is still plenty tight for now. but I would strongly recommend you tighten these bolts down to only 7nm (5.2ftlb) (I will make a video on this next time I adjust the valves) Blind plugs: 7Nm (5.1ftlb) (61.2inlb) fuel tank bolt: 7Nm (5.1ftlb) (61.2inlb) Disclaimer: work on your bike at your own risk.
