The fastest and easiest way to walk to Pendle Hill is to start in Barley. This delightful village is the closest settlement to Pendle Hill. The walk starts at Barley Picnic Site. There’s a cheap car park next to this. Once at the base of the hill. You have a choice of taking the ‘steps’ or ‘slope’. In this video we take the more difficult ‘steps’ first and return via the ‘slope’. It is a circular walk so you could just as well take the ‘slope’ for an easier walk.
