Out of the box sound quality is very good in every way, usually I starts with Heavy Metal, Jazz, Soul, Pop etc., good balanced sound with good Bass notes from T50 speakers. After 80+ hours of burn in these speakers are settle in very nicely, cleaner Mid-Range, improved instrument separation is noticeable but Bass response is not as tight or fast as FS52 towers but it’s good balance sound regardless. T50 speakers are budget speakers but performance of the T50 speakers are worth every bit of asking price and will not disappoint to anyone who is looking for economical speakers. In my opinion, these tower speakers are a little above others in the same price category by offering good balanced sound quality with such a small asking price. I would definitely recommend to a friend for 2 Channel Music or Home Theatre use, Polk T50s offers wide sound stage, good balance sound with clarity and good bass response. However, musical enjoyment and overall sound quality wise Pioneer FS52s are still value leaders, Pioneer FS52 Towers are tonally richer and a little more refine in my opinion, it will come down to personal preference and taste but can’t go wrong with either one in this price.
