Ring Their Names Virtual Vigil | Washington University

On June 5, Washington University students, staff and faculty came together to honor the lives of black and trans Americans who have recently been killed. “Ring Their Names” refers to the plea from Terrence Floyd, George Floyd’s brother, to “Keep my brother’s name ringing.” In this 30-minute vigil, hosted by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, reflection is offered by the following community members - • Mark Kamimura-Jiménez, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion • Andrew D.
