It was my second time bikepacking and 3rd time to Iceland, but it was Allens first, so I created a route which took in all of the greatest sights southwest Iceland has to offer. Thingviller, Geysir, Gullfoss, Haifoss and a truly incredible trail though geothermic landscapes from Nesjavallavirkjun. That day was one of the most spectacular and exciting trails I have ever ridden. The one thing you get to experience in Iceland is truly vast landscape of nothingness, it is a feeling I had been long to go back to, and one that is give you a true sense of adventure We both shared our footage to each other, all 21.5 hours of it, and set out to craft individual edits of our experience.
