Today's video is going to be a size comparison and review of the Balenciaga city bag. I have the bag in two different sizes. I have the mini and the small. And when I was looking to purchase my first city bag, I was looking for different reviews and size comparisons to know what fits in the bag, how it sits on the body, a bunch of different little tiny questions that I had, I'm going to be answering for you guys today. So if you're interested, then go ahead and keep on watching. So these are the two city bags that I have, and they are both currently empty. I have this nude one right here. It was a limited edition colorway with the Balenciaga name printed on the strap. And then I have this one right here, which also, I don't believe if they have it anymore, but it is the crock and boss, and it is all black hardware. And this is the mini size. This one is a little bit more recent and you can see just from me holding it up, that the mini one holds a bit more structure than the size small. And I initially picked this bag because I do like these slouchy or less structured look of the bag, but it does make it a little bit more difficult to find stuff in it just because it becomes a endless pit with just way too much movement in the bag. So the size small definitely holds plenty more stuff. And because it is a bit softer of a feel to the bag, it is going to expand a little bit more when you do more stuff in it. Whereas the size mini will just naturally have a little bit more structure since it is a bit more petite. The main difference that I have going on with the maintenance of the bag is in this one. I actually have a little piece at the bottom of the bag that I purchased on Etsy, that is just this piece of leather, and you fold the edges and it just fits perfectly at the bottom of the bag, and it's going to help keep that bottom structure nice and solid to keep the shape of the bag a little bit more intact. And for me, when the bottom of the bag has just a little bit more structure, it makes the organization of the bag inside a little bit better for me personally. The one thing that I do prefer about the size small is that the back zipper pocket in here does fit an iPhone pro plus whatever you want to call it in the back pocket, nice and snug. I don't use these front phone pockets that come in handbags just because my phone just sticks out just pretty much to the top. So I usually use those pouches for other things like a mirror or receipts or lipstick, chopstick, my car keys, that kind of stuff will go in that compartment. And in the mini size, my phone does not fit in that back pocket at all. It doesn't go down and it sticks up nice and tall. So I ended up just kind of throwing my phone in the bag and allowing it to float around, and just holding the phone up to the bag on the outside, you do have plenty of space for the phone and then other space as well for plenty of other things. So another thing that I want to compare is the length of the drop strap on the handbags. You guys will see I'm starting them at the same place on this side, looping it around and you have about two or three inches more on the size small than on the mini. And I actually do not like where this bag sits on my body as a cross-body, it hits me way too low. And even if I have it on the shortest setting right here, it's still a little bit too long, and I know that I can get it professionally shortened, I just haven't gone and done that yet. So that is the main thing that I don't love about, this is the length of the shoulder strap drop. Another difference is the amount of room that you have to put your arm with the top handles on the two bags. You will see side-by-side that in the small, you have a lot more room to loop this on the arm. Whereas on this one, it's a little bit more tight for comfort. Speaker 1: I can get this all the way up, pretty much to my shoulder and this one it's pretty much stopped at my elbow. So I think that that is where I'm going to end this video, comparing those small little weird details in sizes of the two handbags.
