I BUILT A GAMEBOY MACRO XL FOR LESS THAN $1 | 2020 Game Boy Macro XL Tutorial | Retro Renew

In today’s episode of Retro Renew, we’re going to make another Gameboy Macro. But not one that uses an expensive metal faceplate. Instead this one will be made on a budget and we’ll be using an original Nintendo DS to make a Macro XL. You can theoretically make this for under $1. Now it won't be the most attractive Macro, but it’ll definitely look somewhat decent. The only component you need to purchase is a 330 ohm resistor and the rest can be sourced with home products. No painting or sanding needed. Also, the Macro XL has some distinct advantages over its smaller brother, the DS Lite Macro, but we’ll get into that in the video, so stay tuned! Enjoy!
