We cannot believe we have already been early retired for a year. Join us as we reflect on this first year of our early retirement - our highlights, the challenges and the surprises we have experienced along the way. After making the decision to retire at the age of 51 we sold the family home, relocated to and fully renovated our Yorkshire Dales cottage. In between building work, we have travelled more than we could have ever dreamed, with extended trips to the US and Europe, as well as lots of home grown adventures in the UK.
