Hex Maniac Advance | Guest Tutorial #2 | Inserting THUMB Code (Part 1)

This is Part 1 of a two-part tutorial as it's kind of long. This video is centered around gathering pieces of THUMB code on the Internet, and applying them to your ROM via Hex Maniac Advance, the best binary ROM hacking tool of all time. The whole process to insert a THUMB routine from the Internet is different with HMA than it is with older tools, so carefully follow along! I go through a few exercises: Inserting the No Guard ability, the Destiny Knot mechanics, and — in Part 2 — the Trainers with EVs routine that's commonly used. The tips & processes I outline can be used for other abilities, items, etc. Always make sure to give credit to the creators of anything you pulled online and back up your ROM before changing vanilla game code just in case anything goes wrong. After this tutorial is complete, I won't have much time to work on more HMA tutorials because of some real life stuff. Thank you all for your support throughout these several months of production.
