Sending lots of love and ill see you next week :) Basic Kitchari Recipe Ingredients 1 cup dried yellow split peas or lentils 1/2 cup long grain brown rice 1 tablespoons grated fresh ginger 3-4 cloves garlic 1 medium onion 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon ground fenugreek 2 teaspoon ground turmeric 1 teaspoon sea salt 5 cups vegetable stock or water 3 TBSP coconut aminos optional (but not traditional) 1/2 jar tomato paste (you don't have to add this but i think it tastes better) Soak your lentils and rice overnight. Drain the soaking liquid and place into a medium pot with all the other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmering and cook for one hour or until very thick and the lentils are soft. serve with coconut milk poured on top and cilantro and lime.
