What's the best gig you ever attended? For Brian O'Connor it was back in 1985 when he went to see the three remaining members of The Beatles reunite for one night only. That didn't quite happen and instead Brian ended up at one of the 20th century's most legendary concerts, Live Aid. This winning story was told as part The Dublin Story Slam's, Summer in the City, series and was recorded live at The Civic Theatre in Tallaght - our first ever Slam there but definitely not our last. The Dublin Story Slam is an open mic competitive storytelling night that's been taking place in Dublin for the last 8 years. Members of the audience are invited to get up and share their personal true stories with no notes and inspired by that night's theme.
