Merry Christmas 2018 From The Alaska 3 Rail-Road

This is the first of two videos I'm shooting for Christmas this year. This one is all Alaska Railroad motive power and mostly Alaska rolling stock from my collection. Now that I have grown my seasonal show to this point, which is becoming quite the labor of love and a lot of fun for me as it is a way to showcase my trains in a very festive way and be able to share them with people all over that ordinarily would turn their nose up at model railroading but for a short time a year around Christmas, it is perfectly acceptable to run trains under a tree. This is probably the ultimate outlet of my creativeness. Next I'll take all these trains back up to the train room less the rolling stock and the rotary snowblower on the double helix which will be powered by the Shay and swap the rest out for the Polar Express and the other regulars of my Christmas show including dad's trains from when he was a kid.
