Alhamdulillah, as we approach the noble night of the 27th of Ramadan, we wish to congratulate the whole nation on today's historic judgment of the Federal Shariah Court regarding their declaration of interest-based conventional banking as prohibited in Islam and for the replacement of Riba based financial system with the Islamic system. On behalf of the banking industry and the whole nation, we would to take this opportunity to commend the Federal Shariah Court on this landmark decision and hope that this will act as a catalyst in emancipating us from the predominantly interest-based banking and economic system.
