When Qatar airlines decided to adopt avios as their frequent flyer currency, I took the opportunity to seek out a seat on one of their ultra long haul Qsuite routes. I've flown on a Qsuite on a couple of occasions, but only ever on "short" flights of 6 or 7 hours between Doha and South East Asia. So I wanted to really road test (sky test??) the seat on a long flight. And I managed to find a seat on the longest Qsuite flight there is, indeed its currently the longest flight currently operated by Qatar, from Los Angeles to Doha. But I got more time in the seat than the 15 and a half hours I expected. Quite a lot more time...
