The Storm Is Over

This is a song by my friend Mike! It was written by him and I really liked it so I asked if I could record it and share it with people, and he gave me permission to. Mike is from the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville. He has been through quite some things in life, but he has found Christ and is daily occupying himself with reading, painting, singing and working in the kitchen! He even walked across states once and saved the lives of two people - physically and spiritually. I am very honored to be his friend. I hope you are blessed by this song. According to Mike, it is called "the storm is over" because of what Jesus did on the cross - the storm is truly over. Even in our daily lives, we need the Lord. He says, "peace, be still" and the waves are stilled. We need Him every day.
