As we continue to be caught up in the storms that are battering scotland this winter it seems this week it was the high winds that brought down so many trees that caused the biggest disruption to our travel routes. The worrying problem was the failure of the diesel heater though, we can always do our best to dodge the storms but a broken diesel heater in freezing temperatures is just not fun at all, so replacing the heater was an absolute must no matter how rough the working conditions. We managed to get our more this week and had a fantastic walk along the mountains to see some epic views, which were made even nicer by the appearance of the sun for a few hours just before the snow returned!!
