A route that I have been leaving out for a very long time, has finally been completed! The route is operated by Metroline Travel from Perivale East [PV] Garage using Gemini 2's, Gemini 3's & MCV Evoseti's. The route goes from Harrow, Northwick Park, Sudbury, North Wembley, Wembley Stadium, Wembley Park, Wembley Central, Alperton, Hanger Lane, North Ealing, Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell, Ealing Hospital & Windmill Lane. At the start of the route's introduction, the route was originally operated by Metroline West using LK59 Ex-First & LK12 Metroline Gemini 2 B9TL's from Alperton [ON] Garage. But then Brent Council decided to shut down the garage to build flats, like why can't they build flats somewhere else - why a bus garage??? But also, the route was transferred to Greenford [G] Garage due to driver shortage in 2020. Then when the garage officially shut down in September 2021, the route was transferred to Perivale East [PV] Garage onto Metroline Travel. At the same time, the LK59 Ex-First B9TLs's were withdrawn and the route gained a part-G3 allocation from route 17 - I believe. Both 83 and 245 are set to receive electrics, so maybe they'll be straying onto this route as the B9TL's would stop going onto this route as they will be going to Willesden Junction [WJ] for the 28 & N28. The route is a proceedor of the 83, the route was cut back in 2016 between Alperton and Ealing Hospital. At the same time, that section was replaced by 483. A rumour lies that the numbering of the route comes from the 83 & the 487 which equals to the 483! At the same time, a night service was birthed: N83; (which follows the route from Wembley Stadium to Ealing Hospital). Then TFL randomly decided to extend this route to Windmill Lane, Three Bridges. I feel as through it could go towards Armstrong Way to help Abellio Drivers to have direct access to the garage. The journey and video as a whole was alright I guess. The weather was foggy, but alright because at least it didn't rain. There was a traffic jam along High Road; due to the roadworks. The 223 driver kind of mislead the driver to move in front - causing an argument in between them. The A4020 section is a very weird area, it has many 2 part stops - idk why TFL can't just make 1 massive bus stop for all routes. One driver along that road, had the 427 blinds on at Dane Road bus stop in Ealing Broadway - (he was protesting against the change lol). The route is a great one that helps to connect North Wembley to Harrow instead of going to Perrin Road and changing onto Pasture Road. Idek how people must've found travelling in between beforehand. Also, the route runs fully along Wembley Hill Road, which is good to connect as well. If you're going from Harrow to Wembley Central, take the 182 or the H17, do not take this route as you will be going all over the place. Otherwise, enjoy the visual!
