Railfan Camp Site! Fast Train With DPU On Sharp Curve, Heavy CSX Mixed Freight, Close Look At Rail

Rail Fan Camp Area & Huge CSX mixed freight with DPU mid train speeding around a sharp curve! This train is on ex Louisville & Nashville Railway tracks near Butler, Kentucky. The train is passing the campsite where we camped 2 nights last fall for a train campout video. A CSX high rail vehicle was speeding by following the train. This line runs between Cincinnati and Corbin, Kentucky on an old L&N coal mainline. The train is hurrying around a sharp curve on Track 1. Track 2 is a passing siding that is about 5 miles long. This line use to be a very busy coal route but today there isn't much coal being shipped on it. With the loss of coal and Precision Scheduled Railroading there are only a few trains a day. My friend owns 40 acres that adjoins the railroad for over a thousand feet and the campsite is 4 tens of a mile off of a one lane road about an hour south of Cincinnati.
