I've seen ads for the halo before but didn't think I'd ever become a customer. After all, it is a pricey device but considering we spent just as much (if not more) for the underground eXtreme dog fence system that doesn't have any of the cool technology as the halo, I'd say it's worth the cost. Our circumstance for using this collar is probably not what most halo customers are using the collar for, but nevertheless it was worth a shot. While the collar didn't work for Bernard, overall I'd say it's still a collar I'd recommend trying if your dog isn't a working dog and doesn't have an instinctual drive to roam large areas. I'm not exactly giving up quite yet, but this highlights my first impression after finally completing the training and putting the halo to use for the first time. #dogs #homestead #pets
