I’m sure you have heard of Honduras, but not many people think about it as a vacation destination. Roatan Honduras is one of my favorite places to visit on any Western Caribbean cruise itinerary and I want to show you why. We have been to Roatan Honduras before, and it quickly became one of our favorite places to visit. The people here are so friendly and welcoming. We sailed in on Princess Cruise Line for this visit so we ported at Mahogany Bay. This port is the newest and largest of the two cruise ports. During our trip to Roatan we visited a few great places that we highly recommend. One of the is Arch's Iguana Reserve. If you want to see a lot of iguanas and get up close to them, this is a great place to do so. The other place is Manawakiee Park, where you can interact with monkeys, sloths, and birds.
