MSVT Track Day Trophy 2013 - Round 2 Oulton Park - Vanquish Motorsport Fiat Punto Abarth

The Vanquish Motorsport team take to Oulton Park for round 2 of the MSVT Track Day Trophy series. Having never ventured to Oulton Park before and this being the first outing in our Irish Cup Fiat Punto Abarth we had to learn the circuit and battle some challenging mechanical issues. In Qualifying we sheered a wheel stud which meant a low starting position of 24 out of the 26 cars on the gird. However, we managed to gain 7 places throughout the race only to break a drive shaft on our last lap. Very disappointing but equally enjoyable day overall. A lot learned and we look forward to round 3 at Donington Park.
