Lec 3: Modelling and simulation of Shunt-connected DC motors using Simulink /MATLAB

In this video, the modelling and simulation of shunt-connected DC motors are presented. Three different approaches were used. these are using block diagrams, Simscape blocks and the built-in DC machine block. This video is part of a series of short videos (lectures) which covers: 1- Modelling and simulation of separately excited DC motors 2- Modelling and simulation of permanent magnet DC motors 3- Modelling and simulation of shunt-connected DC machines 4- Modelling and simulation of series-connected DC machines 5- Modelling and simulation of single-phase (two-winding) transformers 6- Modelling and simulation of single-phase (three-winding) transformers 7- Simulation of single and three phases power factor correction 8- Modelling and simulation of transmission lines 9- Simulation of distribution networks (IEEE 13-bus system)
