At the airport, Sebastian continues to stalk Sarah as she and Bo arrive to help Megan see Prince Raymond off. Sebastian calls Prince Roland to tell him his brother is headed back to Mendorra. Roland instructs him he needs to “get the girl and get rid of her fiance”. Raymond thinks he hears something suspicious, and that they are being watched. He sends his bodyguard Joseph over to investigate. Joseph finds Sebastian and brings him to see the prince. Raymond accuses him of harassing Bo, Megan and Sarah, but though Sebastian denies it, Raymond instructs Joseph to take Sebastian to the plane and keep him under close watch. Cord rebuffs Tina’s advances, but she pushes past his objections and they fall into bed together. Dan tries in vain to revive Max. Gabrielle prays for Max to be spared and offers herself in exchange for his life. She suddenly smiles and professes to Sister Amelia that that her prayer has been answered and Max will survive. At that moment, Max’s heart rhythm returns. At the hospital Andy worries she will lose Max just as she’s finally getting to know him. Gabrielle returns and assures her Max will not die. As Gabrielle resumes her prayers, this time at Max’s bedside, his condition stabilizes, which Dan finds miraculous. Lying in bed together after their recreational activities, Cord is still non-committal on whether he believes he and Tina can save their marriage. Cord admits he does still love Tina but they have very serious issues in their marriage that they need to resolve. Tina asks Cord if he’s falling for Debra, and he says there’s no one else, but he doesn’t trust or believe in Tina anymore either. Sarah and Bo stop into the church Gabrielle has recently frequented and decide to stage their own private, impromptu wedding ceremony, with just the two of them (before doing the real thing on Valentine’s Day. When Megan arrives to the hospital, she is greeted with the great news that Max’s condition is stable. Megan takes Andy home, insisting she needs to rest or she’ll be the next one admitted to the hospital. They leave Gabrielle behind with Max, and he regains consciousness as she sits by his bed.
