Oz Aid is a not-for-profit raising money for local sporting clubs to help the kids in the region. For the drivers: - Drag Racing - Show & Shine - Power Skids Nothing serious and no major competition. Cars must be Street Legal and Registered or Club Registered. For the spectators: - Kids Entertainment - Markets - Food Vendors & Bar - Live entertainment - Resort Accommodation - Camping We will be kicking the days off with “Open runs”, in which you can line up against anyone in a head to head race over the 1/8th mile distance. After lunch each day and if your keen we will run an eliminator for each of the 5 different classes. We will run class by class in the eliminator until a winner is determined for each class before returning back to “Open runs” for those with a score to settle. At the end of each day we will clear the track for anyone who wants to try their skills at a power skid. Classes for Eliminators: 1. QUICK STREET – NA For vehicles that run a true street tyre of ANY width, with a tread wear index of 140 or above, with no nitrous or forced induction at all. 2. QUICK STREET FORCED For vehicles that run a true street tyre of ANY width, with a tread wear index of 140 or above, with superchargers, nitrous, turbos or any combination thereof. 3. QUICK MODIFIED – NA For vehicles that run a sticky tyre (eg, Mickey Thompson ET Street’s) of any width, with no nitrous or forced induction at all. NO SLICKS allowed 4. QUICK MODIFIED – FORCED For vehicles that run a sticky tyre (eg, Mickey Thompson ET Street’s) of any width, with superchargers, nitrous, turbos or any combination thereof. NO SLICKS allowed. 5. QUICK AWD & ELECTRIC For vehicles that run a radial tyre of ANY width, electric and/or all-wheel drive, with superchargers, nitrous, turbos or any combination thereof. NO SLICKS allowed.
