Zina Matthews-Holmes has spent nearly 20 years in the classroom, earning Teacher of the Year twice. As a mother of two, including one child with special needs, Zina was motivated to return to school to become an educator and advocate not just for her child but all children. Her adversities have shaped her into a confident, tenacious teacher who believes in the importance of advocating for children and empowering them to overcome challenges.
