Having come to the the conclusion that my R1200GS is too tall for me to ride comfortably and confidently , two up and fully laden , I bought an alternative. A very kind friend gave me the opportunity to try his low chassis / low seat R1250 . What did I make of it ? Is it a bike that a shorter rider can enjoy and use safely and competently? For clarity , all the R1250GS models discussed can be ordered with different seats , chassis and equipment levels.
