Cameron Highlands, Malaysia was the third stop on our travels through South East Asia. Cameron Highlands is a beautiful destination with much to offer for kids and families. We hope these helpful tips help guide your family travel plans as well. Since we were traveling from Kuala Lumpur, the options to reach Cameron Highlands were by bus, taxi or train with a transfer to bus or taxi. The nearest train station to Cameron Highlands is in either Ipoh or Kampar. For our family, a taxi was the easiest option, though the bus or train/bus option would be cheaper. We were blessed with great weather during our time in Cameron Highlands, so the sunrises over the tea plantations was definitely one of the highlights of our time.
