Dealing with Aphids on Strawberries

Every gardener will run into this pests, aphids. Not to worry as they are a relatively minor pest that is easily dealt with. I had a flat of strawberry plants in my greenhouse that was infested with aphids. All I had to do was leave them outside overnight to let them freeze and they were nearly gone the next day. Insecticidal soap is also another method you can use to remove aphids from plants. Aphids suck the juices from the leaves and can make some damage if let go for too long. Once the growing season comes predator insects often take care of them if you have a healthy garden with plants that attract them.
