Animated reusable map beacon in Camtasia | Location Beacon Tutorial

How to create an animated, reusable beacon for maps or locations, in Camtasia? Find out how to use Camtasia annotations and animation features to create a nice pulsating beacon to indicate a location on a map or give instructions to someone how to get to a specific location, using this animated, reusable beacon. The beacon is animated with a pulsating line coming off the center, it has a drop-shadow and it is created into a reusable, repeatable asset you can add to your Camtasia library and use it in all your project. It also uses Camtasia 2021 new feature called 'Quick Properties' to allow you to change the colour of the beacon without ungrouping it or going into the objects or components themselves. I show you a few examples of how to animate the beacon on a map to show a starting point and a destination and how to animate the beacon easily to follow a path or a few streets and turn corners, with a nice, smooth and seamless animation. Learn a few Camtasia tips and tricks along the way, such as tweaking the easing to make for a smoother animation, changing the corners animation and repeating the beacon.
