Hello! Bonjour! Szervusztok! 12 points to Hungary! This amazing song sounds quite simple when you hear it for the first time, but that's not all there is to say about it: 1. It conveys the immediacy of war. Many fear it closing in. From the Hungarian perspective their neighbour country is at war - and it is not that far from our own doorstep... 2. Although it may be a modestly written song, it has something few Eurovision songs ever had: true liveness. Guitar strings and vocal strings - and that's it! Quite rare since say 90% of the acts use instrumental playbacks for the show. The effort of performing live sadly isn't paid that much appreciation nowadays - the greater is my joy that there are exceptions just like this song. Some details about the recording: Guitars were done first, followed by the lead vocals sung by my old bandmate Weri. Subsequently the backing tracks sung by deleilasenpei and dragonfly were recorded to emphasize the lead vocals in the best possible way. We hope to see Boggie and her musicians get many many points in the finale Vienna 2015. Best wishes from Germany!!
