I must correct what I wrote in the captions. There is a ‘wtf is this scale’ site online that I’ve used up until today, and it could not identify a legit scale, in C, using the notes dialled into the SIG here. It was only the following day that I dug a lot deeper and found that there IS a scale, in C, using all the notes stated- it’s C Locrian natural 6th, which is #1643 on nerdy Canadian site ianring.com. Hurrah! Anyway, I still like it- though I can’t call it C Rorian any more- and I’ve even extracted some intervals from this sequence and composed a little pattern in 6/8 to play around with further. Like and subscribe, good people, spread the word and use more arcane scales. The black notes aren’t just there to make the keyboard stand out in the snow you know… Thanks for watching!
