Please note: Even though we like to explore without a specific destination in mind, we do enough reconnaissance to have good idea of how the area is mapped out, we have active GPS systems, a lot of recovery gear, full-trauma first aid kits , fuel reserves, abundant food and water supplies, GPS and satellite communication systems, and emergency exit strategies.
