Do it Yourself Bucket Classifier for Gold Mining. Easy to make, better than Jobe or Garret store bought versions. Will hold water to the top, and is deeper than others. No need to keep adding water or lifting classifer off. Just leave it on until entire 5 gallon bucket is filled with screened material, scoop plus size material out by hand or small scoop. Once bucket is completely filled, you can then lift it off and check for any larger nuggets on top of the screen. The Homer bucket from Home Depot works best in my experience. It has the deepest dimension from top lip to where the screen will sit. Can also make a set of different size screens and just drop in the one you need, and simply use a twist tie to keep it in place. The one in the video is a 6 Mesh (six square holes per linear inch) or 1/6 of an inch. You can get woven wire mesh at any metal fabricating shop, or use Hardware Cloth in the fencing dept at Home Improvement stores, or buy online at SmallParts.com Cut rods 14 inches long to leave room for bends at end.
