I am painting on a cotton canvas board using Golden heavy body acrylics, you can paint on any surface you like- stretched canvas, paper, Yupo, etc and use any brand of acrylic paint. In today's lesson I will show you how to take your reference photo and create a full color underpainting. In the final steps I will show you is how to use satin glazing liquid mixed in your acrylic paint to create transparent layers of color for details and a nice blurred background. Want to see more?
