Installing the Zlink APK on Dasaita 10.2" Android Head Unit - FAIL!

Dasaita support have sent me a Zlink APK file to install on my head unit to see if that's the issue with it not having Android Auto connectivity. It installs, but disappears when the unit reboots. The rom of the unit seems to detect that the required hardware module is actually missing at bootup, and hides the icon. UPDATE: Dasaita support have confirmed that my model AW-HA-RS06849 (barcode on chassis of head unit) does not have Android Auto / Carplay (my understanding is that there is an additional hardware component required for this to work). As below I paid extra for this functionality so I have requested they send me a replacement which does have this feature. Not sure how that will go but we'll see. I paid extra for this feature when I bought the unit. Dasaita have asked me to send them some pics of the stickers on the outside of the unit, which means I need to get it removed from the car. I'll try to add them to the end of the video.
