Graham Blackledge demonstrates and reviews the Kawai Digital Piano CA901. The top of the Kawai CA range is the CA901, and its not hard to see why. From the responsive well balanced wooden key action, quality sounds with editable features, tremendous speaker system with the added benefit of an acoustic soundboard with transducers, you get a very immersive playing experience. Using the best Kawai piano samples from their incredible Shirgeru concert grand, uprights and other grand pianos, you get a vast variety of tones to choose from. You can even edit the amount of damper noise and sympathetic resonances to ensure you get the sound exactly as you want it, although I like them just as they are! In addition there are lots of other sounds too, such as orchestral strings, choir sounds, harpsichord, organs sounds and many more. You can split the keyboard to have any sound on the left and right hand side, or dual two sounds together, such as piano and strings for example. With a built in metronome and easy navigation using the touch screen on the left hand side you can easily get to the sound or feature you want. There are many songs built in in with many more available that you can pay along with, listen to, or see the music to read using the Kawai app. It even has Bluetooth audio and MIDI for use with apps or playing your music.
