Hollywood's Famous 1955 BUICK Highway Patrol Car - Shotgun Tom Kelly & Gary Goltz

Shotgun Tom Kelly goes CRUISIN' with Gary Goltz in his custom, upgraded 1955 Buick Century Highway Patrol car, a Broderick Crawford better than ever retro mod build from the legendary TV show Highway Patrol. Gary Goltz loves the Highway Patrol TV show so much that he bought his very own 1955 Buick Special Riviera Model 46R and transformed it into Broderick Crawford's car with the help of Les Randolph of Classic Auto Restorations, with several special retro-mod surprises and enhancements including an entirely new electrical system, 264 cu in V-8 motor, custom high flow air intake, PA system with remote control and walkie talkie, police scanner, JVC surround sound system inside and out, firetruck siren, strobes and flashes, heavy duty power disc brakes, power steering, new suspension, hybrid cooling system, dual battery, while all adding an additional 1,000 pounds to the ultimate Broderick Crawford mobile. This car is famous. The story, lore, and concept behind building this car and where it's been is a true marvel as it's culturally integrated and immersed into the Highway Patrol universe. Not only is it also a hallmark of law enforcement, the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade and 10-4 Day every year, but along the journey the car has also crossed paths with the likes of fellow enthusiasts like Neil Young, James Cameron, Dan Aykroyd, Jay Leno, Lawrence Fishburne and many more. Beyond that, it extends even deeper into the community as an iconic car. Shot with 6 cameras, Shotgun Tom and Gary Goltz first arrive at the Upland Regional History Museum for the Sixth Annual Armed Forces Car Show and Toy Drive. From there they proceed down Euclid to the 10 freeway to open up the motor for a classic highway experience. Cruisin' is produced by Michael J.
